Since 2003, our fundamental purpose as an employee owned private company has been to create premium products and services to support healthcare providers. Our company’s objective is to give our clients what they want, and what they are required to have, and that is why MedTrio is currently certified and MACRA ready.
Our experience level goes back to the punch card days when George Luyet, one of our co-founders, began programing in 1968. Further experience came with a small electronic shop in Jacksonville, Arkansas, that sold and serviced electronic devices. With integrated circuits evolving to micro-processors, a natural transition into a computer company that sold IBM products was created (Data Decisions, Inc., formed in 1977). Consequentially, software applications were developed specifically designed for the clientele supported. It was not common at the time to purchase a computer that came with application software so the company not only continued to develop applications, but they also consulted for companies and medical practices to find suitable software and hardware. The majority of software created was for OB/GYN practices, and after many years of success the company and its users made a decision to merge (with 27 other companies) to form a large company that would benefit healthcare practices by adding more resources. However, expectations were not met, and at the request of users, MedTrio was formed in 2003 to resume providing the premier products and support previously given and expected.
Today, our staff experience with healthcare goes back to our very first healthcare practice management system in 1979. Now MedTrio continues to create revolutionary software and support for numerous specialties with the experience and talent of our engineers, programmers, and technicians that are well versed in healthcare and modern technologies.
