Absolutely. MedTrio accepts input from mouse, pen, keyboard and speech recognition programs such as Dragon. We have other features that are designed to save you time as well such as Macro’s, automatic Progress Note completion, and automatic billing.
Yes. Although we have built our own EHR and PM they can both fully function independently from each other and can integrate into other systems.
Our software can be completely cloud based. We do recommend that you have your servers in your own office for a variety of reasons including speed, data security, and internet connection issues. So, if you have the internet you can use MedTrio products.
No. We don’t set limits of any kind on how many users you can have using the system at the same time. Furthermore we don’t set limits on how many people can be viewing the same patient account.
Through our “Custom settings” interface you can tailor the software to fit your individualized needs. If the software can’t be changed to do what you need it to do we will add a custom setting to allow it to do what you need it to do.
We have developed an update system that differs from our competitors. We don’t do huge updates that go out once a quarter or longer. We do small updates that go out nightly and if a bug is found typically we will push an update so that the error gets fixed quickly. This is important for several reasons. One because we do it nightly it’s a very smooth process and typically all you see is improvements. Second is the provider no longer has to dread updates and what is going to be broken. There is also no downtime during an update so you can continue to see patients while an update is in progress and not have to worry about loosing any data.
We are very different in that we give the practice options for training. We can train a cadre from the practice that trains the remainder and we go on-site when they go live. Or will do what is the norm and train everyone at our place or at their place. We are very aggressively priced on training less than half the usual for our industry.
